Netizens hindi nagustuhan ang banat ni Maine Mendoza na patungkol di umano sa 'KPOP'
Last April 27, 2018 Maine Mendoza quickly defended herself when K-pop fans got offended from her joke in one of Eat Bulaga segment Suffer Sireyna.
The host-actress YayaDub joked "Kpop-, Kpop-panget"
We all know that in our generation in terms of music, KPOP became one of a major influence in our younger gen.
On Twitter acount, Maine defended herself and said that she meant no harm.
Oops! Felt the need to respond to this.
However some K-pop fans aren't conviced by her explanation:
Some K-pop fans even photocomment one of Maine's tweet 7 years ago.
But still a lot of Maine's fans and netizens shows support to Yayadub saying it was an old joke.
K-pop is a music genre originating in South Korea, characterized by a wide variety of audiovisual elements. Although it includes all genres of "popular music" within South Korea, the term is often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop music drawing inspiration from a range of styles and genres from around the world.
Dance is an integral part of K-pop. When combining multiple singers, the singers often switch their positions while singing and dancing by making prompt movements in synchrony, a strategy called "formation changing" (Korean: 자리바꿈, Jaribaggum).
At the start of the year, Girls' Generation performed the English version of "The Boys" on the late night talk show The Late Show with David Letterman and also on the daytime talk show Live! with Kelly, becoming the first Korean musical act to perform on these shows, and the first Korean act to perform on syndicated television in the United States.
